LOL – Get your minds out of the gutter. I don’t need THAT kind of crack. All I want is a little crack on Lake Waskiaowaka. If we can just get a crack on it and maybe some thinning then maybe it will warm up enough and the wind will blow enough to blow all that ice off and we can go.

I know its a long shot…but this is a great lake and I really want to go. We have a couple of other options but I don’t know much about those lakes because most of my research has gone into Waskiaowaka.

Last night, I got out the Travel Manitoba book and looked at the Master Anglers Awards from last year. I wanted to check out how many came from other lakes in the area, but all I could see was the HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS that came out of Waskiowaka…

Therefore….I really, really need a little crack ~
