The Fort for the Fourth…
Posted by the fisherbabe, under Travels, fisherbabeThis year we spent the Fourth of July at Fort Robinson in Western Nebraska. Here is my attempt at Nature Photography…Enjoy

The west offers the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen…it does not get better than pink sky and an ice cold beer!!!
One of these days I am going to talk him into it. He is a farmer at heart anyways…I have always known that. Someday we will have our own home on our own pasture with our own spring fed ponds. Ahhhhhhhh…dreams

Those are some great shots, Lizzy. Did you do well fishing? Our dreams are one of the things everyday that keep pushing us onward.
LOL Mel…I did not catch a thing!! We did get to see a nice rainbow trout nibbling on some flies…I think maybe if we had been fly fishing we coulda caught one. I had a brown trout nibble on my lure and a couple of turtles wanted to use my bobber as a beach ball…lol
One of the great things about being a blogger is being able to see the pictures that your friends take around the country. I can understand why you would want to move West. It's beautiful country. Thanks for the tour of Western Nebraska.
Great images of the West.
