hot red fishing action

red fish action is really starting to get fired up.large schools of reds showing up along the interior bays as well as the shorelines alomng the gulf.the last two weeks have been a little on the breezy side but the fish have been chasing schools of shad and mullet close to the shoreline.speckle trout should be showing up in the next couple of weeks in good numbers.so if you want to get into to to awesome salt water action in south louisiana ,give me a call and i will get you hooked up.

fishing the last couple of days and although the water was low from the last cold front ,the tide was coming in during the day and was cleaning up.the bite was slow in the morning but as the day warmed up the redfish,black drum,and b[beep]fishing picked up as well.over then next couple of weeks the red fishing as wellas the speckle trout fishing will really start to get into full swing as the fish will start to feed on schools of bait fish and shrimp.will post again asap but if you want to come down to south louisiana and get in on some great salt water fishing give me a call or driop an email

spring is coming

well fellow fishermen, it has been a tough winter in south louisiana and fishing has been slow.however,with spring and summer right around the corner the action should really start to pick up as the salt marshes begin to fill up with bait fish and shrimp.this will bring the redfish,speckle trout,black drum ect in who will be eating as much as they can get into their stomachs after a long winter.once these fish start feeding the action should be awesome all the way through the late fall and early winter.so if you would lke to come down south to new orleans and get into some great salt water action ,give me a call or drop a line.will post again asap.

finally made it back out on the water today after several days of heavy wind and lots of rain.the wind blew a little bit from the north west but the red fish were hungry and ready to eat.even had a few large mouth b[beep]mixed in ,which i released to grow and make new bass.all fish were caugt with both plastic baits and dead shrimp under a popping float.if the weather stays clear, the fishing should really pick up for both the red fish and speckle trout.if you would like to get in on some great salt water fishing action in south louisiana give me a call or send a email.2011 is right around the corner and it should be a awesome year down on the bayou

folks, it's that time of the year when we have to pick our days to fish because of the cold fronts coming down.but when we can hit the water the refish,speckle trout.black drum ,sheepheads and large mouth b[beep]have been in the deeper canals on the colder days and back out in the smaller bays and bayous after a couple of days of warm weather.this patter will continue all winter and into the spring.most of the fish will be caught with either plastic baits or dead shrimp under a float.i will up date each week or you can go to my fishing reports on my web site www.neworleanscharters.com
